What Olive stores
Olive keeps your habits, the days you log, your reminders and your settings in a database on your device. That is the only copy, and it stays there. The app works entirely offline.

Olive is made by Shiny Grape, LLC. Everything you put into it stays on your device, and this page says what that means in practice.

What we collect
Nothing. Olive has no account to create, no server of ours to talk to, and no analytics, advertising or crash reporting inside it. We do not receive your habits, your history, your device identifiers or anything else about you.
iCloud sync
You can turn on iCloud sync to keep your own devices in step. It is off by default. When it is on, your habits are stored in your own iCloud account through Apple's key-value storage, and nowhere else. We never see that data; Apple's own privacy policy governs iCloud.
Backups
You can export everything as a JSON file and import it on another device. The file is yours: Olive writes it where you choose and does not send it anywhere.
Reminders
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They ask for notification permission the first time you add a reminder time, and they never leave the phone.
Purchases
Olive Pro is a one time purchase made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app whether the purchase exists. We receive no name, address or payment detail from it.
Children
Olive does not collect personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
